The standard RAPTOR charging handle is fully ambidextrous and has large, deeply serrated latch handles to give you a secure hold to cycle the action with speed and authority. Like ALL Raptor handles, it has a raised lip that directs any gas that might escape from the rear of the action AWAY from your face. RAPTORLT has latch handles made of LighTweight highimpact polymer. If you're prone to whaling on your charging handles, you may want to stick to one of the other Raptors, all of which have aluminum latches. RAPTORSL has slimmer, lowerprofile latches than the standard model. RAPTORSD has extra gasventing cuts on the shaft to prevent gas blowback toward the shooter when shooting with a sound suppressor. Finally, the RAPTOR SDSL combines the gas mitigation function of the SD model with the compact latches of the SL charging handle.
