The HMS Queen Elizabeth is a stateoftheart aircraft carrier of the Royal Navy. It is the lead ship of the Queen Elizabethclass and is currently in active service. The ship has a length of 280 meters, a displacement of approximately 65,000 tons, and a top speed of over 25 knots.

The aircraft carrier is equipped with a skijump ramp at the front, allowing for the launch of fixedwing aircraft. It can carry a mix of F35B Lightning II stealth fighter jets and helicopters, with a capacity of up to 40 aircraft on board. The F35B is a fifthgeneration fighter capable of both vertical and short takeoff and landing (V/STOL) operations.
