My Father is Samiran Ganguly. He started his musical journey from his father Sri Arun Ganguly. There after he learned from Pandit Nikhil Bannerjee and then Pandit V. G. Jog ji. After that he is learning from Pandit Partha Chatterjee.

Sri Milan Kumar Basu starts his musical learning from his father's friend Pandit Bijoy Das Pakre then Pandit Sudhir Das after that for some time Pandit Manilal Nag. There after Pandit Partha Chattopaadhyaay and at last from my father Sri Samiran Ganguly.

Guru Sisya Parampara is the main moto of our great heritage of Indian classical music.
