Eric Lu has been the winner of the 7th International German Piano Award 2017 in Frankfurt. At the "grand finale" he performed the piano concerto No. 3 by Sergej Rachmaninow with the Staatskapelle Halle and conductor Josep Caballé Domenech. He played on a C. Bechstein grand piano D 282 at the Great Hall of the Alte Oper Frankfurt in April, 5th, 2017.
