Radial powered RC P47 Thunderbolt smashes into Tree | Lucky escape and Repairable? RC WARBIRD CRASH
Depth perception is a funny thing. Easy to lose it and at Weston Park you sure need to be aware of the trees and how far they are from the flight line. This pilot misjudged it on his final approach. Looks repairable though.

This is the same tree that our friend Steve collided with last year with his F20 turbine jet. I think he's going to have to share ownership of the tree with this P47 pilot now !
