Something a little different on this channel in a military night shoot.

This is a film from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire on 2nd May 2024.

It includes the newly repainted display jet known as Moggy, which has a camo scheme together with the DDay invasion stripes.

The scheme resembles that of a 257 Sqn. Hawker Typhoon aircraft of WWII.

The unique aspect of the night shoot is the dim glow from the exhausts in the dry power takeoffs, which cannot be seen in daylight.

Whilst reheated takeoffs from UK Typhoon aircraft are relatively rare, ones in night time conditions are almost nonexistent, and this video include 4 of them!

The daytime action from this shoot will be released within days, and will include the first sunny display of the new 2024 Typhoon Display Team jet.
