Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, reached Manipur on Monday and visited reliefs camp in Jibram and Churachandpur districts to interact with people displaced by the ethnic violence between the Meiteis and the KukiZos, which began on May 3 last year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins today on a twoday visit to Moscow for the 22nd IndiaRussia summit scheduled on July 8 and 9, marking his first visit to Russia since the country’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

During his visit, PM Modi will meet with President Vladimir Putin, their first meeting since they convened in the far eastern port of Vladivostok in 2019. They also met in person in September 2022 at a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization bloc in Uzbekistan.
