Another #railfan trip with Will @Southeast_Railfan84 this time we decide to try a day in Alvin, TX. Caden ‪@southeasttexasrailproductions‬ also joined us for the stay. We arrive with about 15mins to spare before the MAGHO comes through headed onto the Makawa Sub. Then the BNSF VDENROB408 pulls short of Alvin to set out NS4544. Not sure what was wrong with it. While they were working another BNSF manifest rolls by headed onto the Makawa Sub. Then BNSF 9265 gets the all clear to head through Alvin. We get 2 more BNSF trains through before we head back to Houston after hearing a special visitor is headed that way.

Arriving at one of our favorite spots, tower 26, we are greeted by UP5305 with the UEDDCR pulling south through the tower. Next was rock train RLNVR following close behind and clearing a path North for the MAGSP. Next the MNPEW rolls past with UP1996 the #southernpacific #heritage trailing 2nd. Next comes a KCS lead BNSF QNSIJJ North. Next KCS4609 leads a manifest out of Englewood yard. As the KCS clears up the tower, UP rock train, RCDVRQ pulls by to wait for the KCS to clear before heading west. We then head across the highway to catch Amtrak #2 pulling through downtown before its station stop.
