Rain World: Downpour is a game about reinventing an ecosystem. About how precise changes to an environment and the creatures within it can have an incredible effect on a simulated biosphere.

In the expansion, there are five new Slugcats — The Gourmand, The Artificer, The Rivulet, The Spearmaster, and The Saint — to play as, all of which feature not just new, gameredefining abilities — but new regions suited for those abilities, and new creatures to test their limits. And like in the original base game, everything runs on a unique system of procedural animation and AI that makes this pixelated ecosystem feel truly alive.
