Raised Garden Beds From Cement Vaults

Follow
Triple T Ranch & Sawmill

We will age in place here on our homestead in Texas. These coffin vaults will do just fine for raised beds. We gather the fill materials from our property to keep the cost down. We paid $50 for both vaults.
The homemade hickory charcoal is ground down using rocks in a RED LION cement mixer. The fill materials are also mixed in the cement mixer along with tumbling rocks to bust up the woodland humus. We layered in BIOCHAR in the fill material. We plan to plant after last frost and will definitely have peppers in the raised beds.

Used tractor grapple, chainsaw, Foley Belsaw M14 circle sawmill. Triple T Ranch & Sawmill on Choctaw Ridge is homesteading with a sawmill & anvil.
