In this clip, Rakim broke down his writing process. Being regarded as one of, if not the greatest MC of all time, Rakim revealed some of the difficulties he runs into while writing. He spoke about the inability to turn his ideas off, and how being his own harshest critic can sometimes be detrimental.

On the flip side, Rakim talked about meditating as a way to conjure up inspiration and says it allows him to tap into the 'higher source' through which his gift of writing originates.
