A date for rapper YNW's Melly double murder retrial has been announced for September 10, 2025 after it was placed on hold. Last summer, the rapper's first trial ended in a mistrial. Law&Crime's Bob Bianchi discusses the latest news.

Jamell Demons, known as YNW Melly, allegedly killed his childhood friends, Chris “YNW Juvy” Thomas and Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams, in 2018. Police believe Melly staged the murders as a driveby shooting after a latenight recording session.
