Later on, chugging icon Eric “Badlands” Booker took just 21 seconds to down an entire gallon of lemonade, setting a new standard in the event. While others at the table took breaks for air, Badlands powered through in one fell swoop, making the gallon look like nothing more than a swig of your favorite beverage.

George Shea is the announcer for the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Contest and the commissioner of Major League Eating (MLE). He is credited with turning the hot dog eating contest into a national phenomenon after MLE was just an idea in the 1990s.
