In August 7, 1993 Toyota produced the historic concert For The Record 2 in Folk Arts Theater, which aired with no commercial break on RPN9.
The concert assembled six of the greatest and most legendary Filipino live performers such as Concert King Martin Nievera, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kilabot Ng Mg Kolehiyala of the 90s Ariel Rivera, The Vamp Verni Varga, Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez, and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano.

The concept of the concert was simple yet extremely amazing Each artist is to perform one record breaking solo production number to showcase his or her craft and genre. Simply superb.

In between their solo spot numbers, the artists were paired with each other in duets that highlights and compliments their talents.

Gary V and Regine did a Micheal Bolton and Whitney Houston medley, Martin and Zsa Zsa did a Broadway medley, and on this rare footage a very young Ariel Rivera did a hilariously fabulous comedy skit with the iconic Queen Of Jazz Verni Varga, whom a twenty something Regine Velasquez introduces as her idol, while singing a sampling of the Philippines' sentimental ballads from the late 70s to the early 90s.
