Rare movements on Irish Rail 2019 including train failure transfers and driver training

A collection of clips taken throughout 2019 of various rare movements across the Irish Railway network.

Most of these clips include Dart Transfers, a train failure, double headed 071's and even the Enterprise making a very rare appearance at Islandbridge Junction.

0:00 0:40, Thursday the 17th of January 2019, here we see 071 class locomotive making a very unexpected and rare appearance on the Howth Branch seen here passing Baldoyle Road Crossing with a Howth Connolly Driver Training run.

0:40 2:12, Wednesday the 6th February 2019, Here we see a Commuter 29000 class DMU hauling a Dart Class 8510 EMU while on a Fairview Drogheda Dart Transfer.

2:12 4:16, Wednesday 27th March 2019, Making a very strange appearance at North Wall Freight Yard, here we see a eight piece 29000 Class DMU departing North Wall with a North Wall Fairview Dart Depot driver training run.

4:16 5:46, Friday 26th April 2019, Here again we see another Dart transfer this time passing Harmonstown, the 29000 class was hauling a two piece 8100 / 8300 class Dart to Drogheda.

5:46 7:07, Sunday 5th May 2019, In the early hours of Sunday Morning during engineering works we see Top and Tailed HOBS passing the Humpback Bridge in Baldoyle while on a Portmarnock North Wall empty HOBS Train.

7:07 8:13, Sunday 7th July 2019, Having failed at Gorey while on a Sea Breeze tour to Rosslare we see 074 hauling failed 85 'Merlin' into Gorey siding where it would eventually be collected.

8:13 9:48, A few days after failing in Gorey, 201 class loco (207) hauls failed 85 'Merlin' back to Connolly seen here passing Vale Road and Wicklow.

9:48 11:15, Wednesday the 17th July 2019, Here we see a 29000 class DMU passing Clongriffin while hauling a Dart 8520 EMU while on a Dart transfer from Drogheda Fairview.

11:15 12:14, Monday 12th August 2019, Possibly the rarest clip in this video, here we see 201 class loco (206) passing Islandbridge Junction with the Enterprise set while on a Connolly Inchicore ecs movement.

12:14 14:07, Friday 11th October 2019, A very unusual shunting procedure took place at North Wall, double headed 071's where used to shunt wagons around North Wall Yard, something very rarely seen.

14:07 17:19, Tuesday 15th October 2019, And finally to finish this video off, we see the Belmond Grand Hibernian making a rare appearance at North Wall and only it's second ever visit to the yard after been delivered back from England.
