This was the first and only time a Qantas A380 has visited London Gatwick Airport.
the A380 also conducted a Go around due to something happening with the runway, not more than 10 minuets later it landed at London Gatwick and made its way to the A380 Gate 558

Sadly due to a medical incident it was on the ground for a very long time. so long in fact that the Emirates A380 had arrived and was holding for nearly an Hour waiting for the only A380 gate to be freed up. it was a great sight seeing the two planes pass. the Heavy A380 then made its take off roll and was a late rotation but it was airborne taking the cruise ship charter Passengers back to Sydney via Singapore.
