While exploring the Tonga Trench at 3,300 meters, we captured footage of the elusive squid on our deepsea lander cameras.

Often called the 'Bigfin squid' or 'Ghost squid,' this creature has incredibly long arms and tentacles, stretching up to 8 meters in length.
