RC Aeroplane Rudder and Elevator Exercise

In this video I demonstrate a coordination exercise that you can practice on a windy day to help increase your use and understanding of rudder.
I forgot to mention slipstream and how it also contributes to yaw as power increases. This is because the slipstream caused by the spinning propeller moves rearward in a spiral or corkscrew type of motion. With a right turning propeller (clockwise from the pilot's perspective), the corkscrew is also clockwise. The airflow hits the fin and rudder on the left side, the aircraft pivots around its center of gravity and the nose goes to the left. Again, you counteract this with right rudder.
Furthermore, the slipstream affects the empennage (tail) but not the outboard sections of the wings usually where the ailerons are located. This is why the exercise works well. Higher power and lower airspeed means you have good elevator and rudder authority.
