Using an Arduino or a micro controller we can generate cool looking patterns with an LED strip with addressable LEDs. In this case I'm using an Arduino UNO (clone board) and a strip of LEDs with WS2812B chips. The program uploaded to the Arduino makes me able to control the lights with my radio control, and they react according to the throttle stick, they change the color and the amount of leds lighted up.
