You just disturb the normal spawning of a chance event to do this kind of glitch so you just find a way to disturb its normal spawning so there is no need to kill the lady.
If you have a save in which every time you come to a certain place, you can trigger this chance event, you definitely want to try this method.
If you can't trigger this event, keep saving the game near until you have this "chance event file"
