At this stage, our reading list for my 2nd grader is transitioning from reading with me, to reading by herself. This book list for our homeschool is very small and intentionally not overwhelming. I want her to explore and find books in the library that she is interested in reading. Beginner books for this age group of 7 to 8 year olds, especially struggling readers can be hard but its worth it!
