On November 5th and 6th, 2022, I made a firsttime visit to Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad to see Reading & Northern 462 Pacific No. 425 on its final fall foilage run before going down for its FRA 15year inspection later in the year. Many railfans, including myself, flocked to see 425 in action one last time before going silent for a while. Enjoy 425 haul one of RBMN's fall foilage excursions from Reading to Jim Thorpe and return. You'll also see the locomotive getting serviced and loaded with coal in Jim Thorpe and a spin on the turntable at R&N's Steam Shops cooling down for the night. As an added bonus, you'll see 2102 making a special appearance throughout the video a bit. Enjoy 425 pulling her final fall foliage excursion!

I did not know until after I was railfanning the 425, but RBNM announced on Nov. 5 that 425 would be running one more time. It was announced that 425 would return to steam in December to pull Santa trains for two weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays) before officially going down for its FRA 15year inspection.
