New Year's is a great time for thinking about making a positive change in your life. The thing is, many people try to change all on their own, which is pretty much impossible without God. Jesus said that He is the vine and we are the branches. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. Whether or not we will walk with God is a choice that we continually make all the time. And if we abide in Him (that is, stay near Him by spending time with Him in prayer, Bible reading, and choosing to live His way) we can and will see genuine, positive change in our lives in ways we never thought possible. Choose to follow Jesus in this new year.
