Being from a family of Army men, Commodore Vijay Pal Singh followed in their footsteps by joining the prestigious National Defense Academy (NDA) to continue his family legacy. Commodore Vijay, an alumnus of the NDA, specialized as a Marine Clearance Diving Officer, graduating first in his class in December 1988. He later joined the elite Marine Commando Force. After 34 years of dedicated service, he retired in November 2020 as the Principal Director of Special Operations & Diving.
