Aron Welsh, ICU physiotherapist, ICU survivor, and author of the book, "Never Really Over", shares with us the graphic reality many ICU patients face during medicallyinduced comas. He reveals common roots of postICU PTSD that many survivors carry with them the rest of their lives. He helps us understand that continuous deep sedation often does not provide ICU patients the peace and "sleep" we assume while they are on mechanical ventilation.
