If you’ve experienced childhood abuse, childhood, sexual abuse, or domestic violence, you have many reasons for challenges in adult hood.
The laundry list of negative impacts of trauma and abuse is long and includes:
Difficulty with relationships
Difficulty with sex
Depression, anxiety and sadness,
Being overweight
Addictive behaviours
Certainly those experiences are REASONS to feel that way or experience life in these ways.
Be careful though, not to get caught up in the REASONS becoming EXCUSES for not living the type of life that you want to live.
It is possible to recover from deeply traumatic experiences and live a life that is connected, loving, healthy, and vital!
