The Vols picked up an unexpected loss, but, that’s not as damaging as we’d have though since Texas is the SEC’s only unbeaten team.

Florida is a tricky matchup but the Vols are 15 1/2point favorites.

Alabama’s defense was exposed by Vanderbilt and could have trouble with Nico Iamaleava’s athleticism as well as a power running game headlined by Dylan Sampson. And, the game is in Knoxville, where the Vols won last time the two teams played there.

The Vols get a muchneeded bye before facing a Kentucky defense that could be a tough matchup. So more time for Josh Heupel to scheme appears to be a good thing.

Tennessee should handle UTEP and Mississippi State easily.

The game at Georgia will be tough, but the Bulldogs aren’t runaway national title contenders they were thought to be in the preseason.

Finally, Vanderbilt presents a tougher challenge than first thought but the Vols will have a talent advantage there.
