This is a quick rundown on how one would go about rebuilding a Mazda rotary engine. This particular engine is a 12A from a S3 RX7 after the front rotor lost compression due to chrome peel and a cracked apex seal. This engine is rebuilt with near new housings and all new seals etc. No fancy tools here, this was completed at home with basic tools commonplace in most workshops. The parts needed for this particular engine were sourced from Atkins Rotary.
