Ahh the tournament arc. Almost every shonen battle anime has one. From the Dark Tournament in Yu Yu Hakusho to the Sports Festival in My Hero Academia. Some may argue that it's been over done and I can see where they are coming from. That's why today I'll be reviewing possibly one of the funnest tournament "arcs" that I've read. Shūmatsu no Valkyrie is a Japanese manga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. It began in Tokuma Shoten's seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Zenon in November 2017.
