Since 1973, Pizzeria Scugnizzo has been an institution in Turin for lovers of authentic Neapolitan pizza. Michele, the owner, has created a place where tradition and innovation meet with passion and dedication, resulting in a unique taste experience.

Michele has carefully selected the best pizza chefs, true masters of the art of pizza making who boast extensive experience in the field and know how to enhance the quality of the carefully selected products.

The Scugnizzo staff is composed by Max, Megan, Leo and Reanna, a closeknit team that works with enthusiasm and dedication. Always ready to welcome customers with a smile and make them feel at home, they contribute to creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy an excellent pizza in good company.

The woodfired oven, built with bricks and fueled with beech wood, ensures uniform cooking and excellent fragrance: golden and crispy crust, stringy mozzarella, fresh and skilfully combined ingredients.

The dough, the result of careful research and highquality flours, is left to rise for over 48 hours with sourdough, guaranteeing high lightness and digestibility.

Scugnizzo offers its customers the possibility to choose between two types of pizza: pizza al mattone (pizza on the brick) and pizza al tegamino (pizza in a pan), strictly cooked in the woodfired oven in iron pans.

In addition, there is also the possibility to choose between two types of dough: the classic dough and the wholemeal dough.

The secret of the unmistakable taste of Scugnizzo pizza also lies in the careful selection of San Marzano DOP tomatoes, mozzarella di bufala campana DOP, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil, which come from the best Campanian producers.

The menu is a real journey into the culinary tradition of Campania. From classic pizzas, such as Margherita and Marinara, to more elaborate ones, such as the "Burrata" with cherry tomatoes, burrata DOP and basil, or the "Vesuvio" with tomato, fiordilatte, fresh nduja from Spilinga, buffalo ricotta cream, yellow confit tomatoes, basil and extra virgin olive oil.

Up to the white pizzas and the specials, with seasonal ingredients and surprising combinations.

In addition to pizza, Scugnizzo offers a delicious glutenfree chickpea farinata, prepared with flour from the Molino di Pegli and cooked in a wood oven.

And to end on a sweet note, the menu also offers a selection of typical Neapolitan desserts, such as babà and sfogliatella.
