In this episode of Murphys Diesel Truck Vader was waging war against a dry river bed. Murphys Diesel got the call and had to go. Truck Vader is a Freightliner Cascadia pulling 36,000 pounds of concrete on a step deck trailer. All together was close to 77,000 pounds!!! Wrecker Rick, Hot Rod, Heavy T, and De Niro take our Oshkosh 7 ton military truck, Devil Dog, our Kubota in house built winchbox, Freebird, the new Polaris, and our trusty Ram 3500 service truck to rescue Truck Vader. They were told it was 10 miles and wound up 23!!!
This heavy offroad recovery gave us a challenge at first. Luckily we had Bailey’s Towing Accessories rigging, the good stuff, to help succeed. Using our Wrecker Rick Rope and soft shackles it was a breeze. The Setcom Headsets really came in handy this beautiful day in Northern Arizona.
