On June 22, 1941 the Red Army had more tanks than every other army in the world combined. Six weeks later the invading Germans had destroyed 90% of them. Reequipped by LendLease and Soviet industry, revitalized tank forces spearheaded massive offensives in 1944 and 45 that pushed the Germans back to Berlin. This video is a brief look at the colour schemes and markings of the Soviet tank forces in what they called the Great Patriotic War of 194145.
