In this video we will show you the Red Mountain Mining Area, just off Hwy 550 (the million dollar highway) between Ouray and Silverton in Colorado. We take our stock 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL on this easy trail without problem. It passes through old Colorado ghost towns and abandoned mines. This is a great, easy trail that can be achieved with any basic 4x4 vehicle (and maybe even an AWD vehicle) if the road is dry.
