Reflector or "reflex" gunsights utilize the principle of light collimation to give the shooter a parallaxfree aiming reticle and improve target acquisition. In this episode I look at a pair of WWII aircraft gunsights and a modern 'red dot' optic and discuss their operating principles and 120year development history.
