Helen M. Blau, PhD, is the Donald E. and Delia B. Baxter Foundation Professor and Director of the Baxter Laboratory for Stem Cell Biology at Stanford University, and is worldrenowned for her work on nuclear reprogramming and the demonstration of the plasticity of cell fate using cell fusion. In her presentation, she shares work from her lab on returning the strength of aged and weakened muscles back to a healthy, young baseline in mice.
