In a manner similar to my previous review of the Reliant Robin and the Bond Bug, I present Part 1 of 2 for a look back at the life of the Reliant Scimitar, an unexpected sports offering from the famous creator of the notorious threewheelers.

In part 1, we look at the original Reliant Scimitar GT, GTE and GTC which was built between 1964 and 1986, a staple of the British sports car market, but one that didn't have the same resonance as contemporary Triumphs, despite the fact that it was a stylish and superb looking machine that was even able to win over some Royal connections.
