Morton’s neuroma is a benign, enlarged nerve growth between your 3rd and 4th toes. Women are 810 times more likely to develop it due to the types of shoes they wear. Causes of Morton’s Neuroma include wearing pointy or highheeled shoes, having an abnormal foot structure, injuries to the foot, and participation in sports.

Symptoms can include pain between the 3rd and 4th toes, tingling, numbness, burning, and the feeling like you're walking on a pebble or have a waddedup sock in your shoe.

Home treatments for Morton's neuroma are icing, using metatarsal pads, wearing shoes with a wider toe box, lower heel, or sandals, avoiding bulky socks, and lacing your shoes to provide more space at the front for your toes.
