This is a sharper scan of the previous raw footage. My father, Donald "Dee Jay" Hallman, shot this footage at the 1947 & 1948 National Air Races in Cleveland, OH when he was 26 years old. Pop used an Argus C3 35mm and a Revere "60" Magazine Eight Turret Camera. The stash was found in the basement archives of his estate. Dad...I'm proud of your keen eye and will forever admire your passion for the Arts & flight.

This film will be fine tuned, then combined with the 40+ 35mm slides that have been scanned
and preserved.
