A key skill in photo editing is being able to remove unwanted objects and people from a photo without it appearing obvious. The key to this is breaking down the repair into a plan and knowing which tool to use for which part of the repair.

Many of the photo editing examples demonstrating the removal of unwanted objects have been picked to look impressive but are simple. Often, they feature removing people from the sea or an object from a beach. Usually, the thing being removed is already isolated on a plain background making it easy to repair, but most photos aren’t like this.

The photo used in this video shows typical challenging examples you might face. Perhaps there’s a bin in the foreground, or there’s an army vehicle parked in front of the landmark you’re photographing. When you follow the steps in this video, you will learn how to remove even the most challenging of unwanted objects from your photos.
