Removing Silicone RTV From Paint | Car Detailing Nightmare we have to carefully remove this from the paint when trying to debadge this ram 1500 pickup truck we found that instead of someone using double sided tape they used black rtv which is gas and oil resistant making it nearly impossible to break down to remove. Luckily we came up with a way to remove this from the paint without damaging it and was able to polish the paint to its original finish.
