Oldsmobile Aurora 2001 4.0L. The inner CV axle is stuck to the transmission. Tried to pry it out with screw driver, crawbar etc. Got 8ft 3/32 stainless steel cable, fasteners from home depot. Rented slide hammer from auto zone. Worked out very well.
