•Patients should be approached with empathy when educating about what they can or cannot eat.

•As a healthcare giver, you can help the dialysis patient determine what they can eat in order to feel better.

•Remember that we are all part of a team and it is our responsibility as a team to educate our patients.

•When we educate our patients we help improve their quality.
