A Corgi Toys model of an American la France fire brigade in 1 : 43 scale appeared in the catalogue in 1969. The model was very complex in terms of construction. It contained a great deal of construction and equipment. I wonder how much this fire truck cost on the day it appeared in toy shops. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find data on the sale price of this model.
In order to restore this model, I collected one incomplete piece and additionally managed to buy a ladder at a flea market, which provided me with spare parts during the restoration. Courtesy of a friend in the UK, I was able to make a copy of the firefighters and equipment I was missing, as the friend lent me the parts to copy. I made a box that deviates from the original, but includes the graphic elements that are present in the original box.
