In June of 2023, a truck caught on fire under the I95 overpass at the Cottman Avenue exit. This closed all lanes of traffic on I95, one of the most busy roadways in the entire country.

In just 12 days, a temporary roadway was constructed to get traffic moving with 3 full lanes heading north and southbound while the outside permanent structure was constructed. Once complete, the middle temporary structure was demolished to make way for the inner lanes.

After 11 months, this project has been fully completed. This video shows all of the major milestones along the way.

Shoutout to the contractor, Buckley & Company, for getting this job done in record time. The workers featured in this video absolutely crushed it!
