The aluminum shell of this 1949 Spartan Manor has, as a foundation, sections of channel around its entire perimeter, that rest on the subfloor and support the shell. Unfortunately, this foundation was seriously corroded or even missing in three sections.

This was the most difficult aspect of our trailer renovation so far, having to figure out how to replace sections of aluminum channel that were curved both horizontally and vertically. We ended up fixing each section in a different way.
