The family of a Waukegan man killed in the Highland Park 2022 Fourth of July parade shooting is suing gun manufacturer Smith & Wesson, reports the Daily Herald. According to the report, the lawsuit was filed Friday on behalf of the family of Eduardo Uvaldo, one of seven people killed in the mass shooting. The lawsuit, the report says, alleges that Smith & Wesson marketed an AR15style weapon to teenagers despite its use in other mass shootings.
