Guardianships provide legal protections for the guardian and the adult disabled person. This is an area of growth for the legal profession given the aging baby boomer population. This session will explore the process for obtaining an adult guardianship, including transitioning from minor to adult guardianships. You will also hear about the needs of lowincome individuals and how you can help them by providing pro bono legal assistance through Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance.
