P47D at the Hahnweide OldtimerMeeting 2019, flown by Jon Gowdy. Aircraft is powered by a Pratt & Whitney R2800 18cyl. Radial engine with over 2500hp.
Engine Startup went a little smoky. It`s a common thing for radial engines to collect some oil in the lower cylinders. That gets burned on engine start.
The B47 Thunderbolt os one of the biggest and heaviest fighters of WWII with very strong armament.
