Here's a quick video to discuss the Change Oil light on the 19941996 B/D Body which includes the Chevy Caprice, 9C1, Impala SS, Buick Roadmaster, and Cadillac Fleetwood.

Turn the key on, do not start the engine.
Pump the pedal rapidly 3 times.
The Change Oil light should blink and reset.

The car has no way to tell when you change your oil, so this procedure should be followed at each oil change, whether the light is on or not.
