Received the apology, only to find that it changed nothing?!? You’re not alone.

If you’re human, humans have hurt you, and the worst kind of disappointment comes from humans you love the most.

We tend to have the highest expectations of people we love the most. ❤

I’ve found the height of our expectation determines the depth of the disappointment. ‍

This kind of heavy hurt requires way more than an apology can give and stays with us unless we learn how to lay it down the right way.

Life is so much lighter when you release disappointment, but you can’t release disappointment until you change your expectation.

Week 5 of Are You Praying For The Wrong Thing?, forces us to assess what we expect from others and what we MUST require of ourselves to move on.
